Silverex Quarry: The Source of Silver Titanium Travertine
What is Silverex?
It is our newest quarry and the source behind Ghadir Stone’s Silver Titanium Travertine—a natural stone defined by layered silver tones, strong linear movement, and a recognizable character.
For stone buyers, appearance is only part of the decision. A material also needs reliable supply, careful block selection, and enough consistency to support real projects. As the owner and operator of Silverex Quarry, Ghadir Stone controls the stone from its source and can manage large-volume requirements with a clear view of availability and selection.
A Closer Look at Silverex Travertine

Silverex Travertine is the commercial name we use for our Silver Titanium Travertine. Its palette combines silver, charcoal, smoky grey, and occasional warmer mineral shades. These natural variations create depth without making the surface visually disordered.
Rather than appearing flat or uniform, the stone shows layered movement across its surface. Depending on the block, cut direction, and finishing method, the pattern can range from refined parallel lines to more expressive natural bands. This gives architects and fabricators flexibility when selecting material for different design concepts.
The stone works especially well in projects where the material is expected to remain visible and contribute to the architecture—not simply cover a surface. Its darker silver background can create contrast beside light wood, neutral plaster, metal, glass, or pale natural stone.
Strong Linear Veins in Vein-Cut Production
One of the main visual strengths of Silver Titanium Travertine is its performance in vein cut. When the block is cut parallel to its natural bedding, the stone reveals long, directional lines with a clear horizontal or vertical flow, depending on installation.
This linear continuity is valuable for wall cladding, large-format flooring, staircases, reception areas, and feature surfaces. With considered slab selection and layout, the veins can continue from one piece to another, creating a controlled architectural rhythm across a larger area.
The result is not artificial repetition. Each slab retains its natural differences, while the shared direction of the veins helps the finished installation read as one complete composition. For architects, this balance between consistency and natural variation is one of the most practical qualities of Silverex Travertine.
Why Direct Quarry Ownership Matters
Natural stone is not manufactured in identical batches. Color range, vein movement, block size, and structural condition can change from one section of a quarry to another. For this reason, quarry control matters—particularly when the material is being specified for a multi-stage or large-volume project.
Because Silverex is our own quarry, our team can follow available production directly and select blocks according to the visual and technical needs of each order. This creates several practical advantages for importers, distributors, fabricators, and project buyers.
1.More Controlled Block Selection
Blocks can be assessed for color direction, vein structure, size, and overall quality before processing. This helps us prepare a more suitable selection for the required application rather than treating every block as interchangeable.
2.Better Coordination for Project Quantities
For larger orders, buyers need more than an attractive sample. They need to know that the supplier can coordinate material over the course of production. Direct access to the quarry gives Ghadir Stone greater control when planning substantial quantities and organizing selections for project-based requirements.

3.Clearer Communication from Source to Shipment
Quarry ownership also shortens the communication chain. Our sales, production, and quality-control teams can coordinate the order from block selection through cutting, finishing, packing, and export preparation. Buyers receive updates based on the actual material being prepared for them.
From Quarry Block to Finished Stone
The final appearance of travertine depends not only on the quarry but also on how the block is processed. After selection, Silverex blocks can be cut and finished according to the specifications of the order. Available options may include polished, honed, brushed, leathered, sandblasted, or other project-specific finishes.
A polished finish highlights the darker mineral shades and increases surface reflection, while a honed finish gives the material a softer and more architectural appearance. Textured finishes can be considered for exterior or higher-traction applications, subject to the project’s technical requirements.
The material can be prepared as slabs, tiles, or cut-to-size pieces depending on the required dimensions, thickness, finish, and quantity. Matching and layout requirements should be discussed before production, especially when strong vein continuity is part of the design.
A Quarry Source for International Projects
Silverex Quarry gives Ghadir Stone direct access to a distinctive Iranian travertine and the ability to support large-volume orders. Our role is not limited to offering available stone. We help buyers review the color range, select the appropriate cut and finish, plan dimensions, and prepare the material for international shipment.
For distributors, this means access to a recognizable silver travertine with a defined source. For architects and designers, it means a material with clear visual identity and strong vein-cut potential. For importers and contractors, it means working with the quarry owner and a production team that understands the requirements behind project supply.
Applications for Silver Titanium Travertine
Silverex Travertine can be considered for both interior and exterior architectural uses when the correct thickness, finish, installation system, and technical specifications are selected. Common applications include:
Interior and exterior wall cladding
Feature walls and reception areas
Flooring and staircases
Fireplace surrounds
Bathroom and hospitality spaces
Building façades and landscape elements
Custom furniture and fabricated stone details
Its strong directional pattern makes it particularly effective on broad surfaces where the natural layers can be fully seen. For smaller details, careful cutting can turn the same movement into a focused design feature.
